Nerja Boat Trips
Nerja is an increasingly popular destination for holidaymakers of all nationalities. It’s a fantastic town with lots of options for a day out but there is one drawback, Nerja doesn’t have a marina. This, unfortunately means boat trips are a little less accessible than everybody would like. Not all boats can run up onto the beach to pickup or drop off passengers. Sailing yachts, for example, rely on a deep keel to keep them upright and help them to sail which means that under the surface of the water we have another 1.7 metres of boat to worry about. This means beaching is not an option for us, we need a marina.
Bounty bars in Rio
Of course, this doesn’t mean we cannot offer sailing boat trips to our guests but it does mean you have to travel a little bit further to get to us. We are sure, however, that you’ll have the best day of your holiday. Sit back, relax and allow yourself to dream a little bit…
There’s nothing quite like it, you’re on holiday with your friends or family and you’ve been to the beach a few times and you’ve been to the pool but you want something a little bit more exciting and adventurous. You are longing for the wind in your hair and the spray of the ocean. The freedom to drop anchor near a picturesque beach and dive in for a refreshing swim. You know the scene, think Bounty Bar adverts or Simon Le Bon singing Rio. You’re on holiday for Pete’s sake you can be king of the world like Leo in Titanic… Actually, let’s not mention Titanic!
You need to get away from crowded beaches and hotel pool politics to become the Captain of your own destiny… You need a boat trip!!!
You’ve come to the right place
If you are visiting the stretch of coast that runs from Torrox to Salobrena which, includes the towns of Nerja, Maro, La Herradura and Almunecar then there is really only one destination. The truly breathtaking Marina del Este. Sure, there is a marina at Caleta de Velez and another in Motril but neither one is as beautiful as the jewel that nestles in the shelter of Punta de la Mona. Neither can they boast the jaw-dropping scenery that is on the doorstep of Marina del Este. Of course you can see those sights from the N-340 coast road but you can only appreciate how dramatic and magnificent they really are when viewed from the sea.
Boat trips, sailing charters and fun-packed days out
Marina del Este has much to offer. As well as boat trips and sailing charters it has plenty of good restaurants and bars and is worthy of a visit just to soak up the atmosphere. But, let’s face it, we’re talking about a trip on a boat and hopefully I’ve whetted your appetite a little.
Force 4 Sailing are based in Marina del Este where we offer boat trips and sailing charters of 3, 4 or 5 hours. Complementary beer, wine, cava and snacks (tapas) are included on all of our charters and trips
We sail a 36′ (11 metre) yacht and specialise in exclusive boat trips for small to medium sized groups up to a maximum of 6.
